The pattern designed for this work begins with the logo used by Cornerstone Housing for Women. The logo is a geometric form that communicates concepts of community, collaboration, and belonging. To design the new pattern, the basic shapes from the logo have been repeated, overlapped, and interconnected. The result can be viewed as a whole image, or many smaller parts coming together.

Cornerstone Housing for Women supports over 600 women and gender-diverse people in Ottawa every year. The organization provides emergency shelter to women in need and places for women to call home in a community that supports them to live with dignity and hope.
