“There’s A War Going On Outside” is a goodbye mat, meant to be placed facing into one’s dwelling as a reminder of the dangers beyond one’s home. The piece’s name is taken from the legendary hip-hop duo Mobb Deep’s classic “Survival of the Fittest”, and takes its visual queues from the graphic brand logos of 90s streetwear.
